Its such a shame i live so far away from you all. I would love to come and help rid you all of Mr Fox.

Still.... A concrete base and doubling the chicken wire helps.

Electric fencing and/or raising the coop of the ground help's even more.

Another little trick that works is to place a couple of PIR activated , weatherproof battery operated lamps by the coop. It helps in the short term, especially where foxes are shot regularly as the become lamp shy. They are not that expensive.

Some even have buzzers on them allowing you a little more warning.

All you can do is do your best to try everything.

Just one thing. Please dont use an air rifle to shoot them. Unless it's a firearm rated air rifle shooting over 12 foot pounds.

Its not very effective and no-one want's to cause any animal to suffer a slow death !!!
