Amazon and Facebook links

There have been a couple of changes to the website.

Facebook
You will notice on some pages links to "Recommend" or "Like" on Facebook. If you have a pathological hatered of Facebook and don't want any trace of Facebook on your computer or linking Facebook to this site, please join the Facebook Opt Out group. You can join and leave the group whenever you feel like.

Amazon
You may notice on some pages bright purple dotted underlined links that when you hover over them give you products from Amazon. Again, if you hate this, you can turn this off by going to this page and joining the Amazon Opt Out group. This only affects these self-optimising links, and will not remove "normal" Amazon ads from the website.

If I notice a real dislike of these types of ads (that is from people actively turning them off), they may end up being removed entirely.

Those who have donated to the forums will not see these ads anyway.
