Post by perutnina » 26 Apr 2012, 20:38

I am looking for some hathing eggs/chicken of quetro, quechua, huastec and collonca chicken...
The problem is I can only find sellers from USA who won't ship to EU (which is where I am)

Does anyone now of a place where one could order these chicken?

Thanks in advance!

I've not heard of any of those - any chance they have another name, or have you any pictures of them?

Edited to add. I've just checked Feathersite and think you'll be very lucky to find any European breeders. I must admit, the egg colours sound fun.
Guinea fowl & a lot of surplus poultry equipment.

I've tried to source these too. I couldn't find a way to do it - the hoops you have to jump through to import birds into the EU are horrific. You'd have to be really rich. And I doubt that any eggs would be viable after all that travelling, even if you find someone to send them.
