Clay hare

I made this back in december, but only got around to firing it with a few other pieces this week.

I got the idea from podstable after posting a link. It's quite small, I wanted to figure out how to make the ears and legs without them breaking off in the fire. I'll have a go at making a larger one once I've found more clay

Thanks for the praise :)

I also made a prehistoric pic. It's a replica of one found in Turkey, it's been dated at around 4000 years old. No pic of it though.

Oh, that's so beautiful. I have hares in the field at the bottom of my garden, and they are just wonderful. I'm.so envious that you can create something like this! Sarah x
