sorry chucj but dry bread can occasionaly cause block crops leading to death...kelly ......the easy way is have a old washing up bowl and quarter to half fill with water .................break the bread and drop in bowl,,,,,,,,, wet bread happy chooks

Lindsay here in france you can buy rings from Ducattilon.................check spelling.......(they have a web site) .............they do all sorts of small animal gear as well as for chasse

i have used gravel for more years than i care to remember.............once a week i spray with disinfectant(Jeyes if you can get it or animal disinfectant) after the birds have gone to bed then hose well before letting them out....................if the gravel is thick enough the poo is washed down ...

its hormones dear hormones....................its much more common for a hen to act like a coq than the other way round...............................i expect scientists can give a full explanation but for the rest of us its the magic of poultry keeping
